Unlike other CPAP cleaners which connect directly to the CPAP through the CPAP hose, the Lumin cleans your CPAP equipment differently. To utilize the disinfecting powers of the Lumin’s ultraviolet light, you will need to take your CPAP gear apart and place the following pieces into the light chamber:
- Face mask
- Headgear
- Water compartment
You will then close the protective door and press the start button to activate the cleaning cycle. You must follow these steps each time you want to utilize the Lumin to sanitize your CPAP equipment or other everyday household items such as your toothbrush, eyeglasses, or hearing aids.
